Eltimar will guide you through all the missions and secrets that can be found in the tutorial mission of Divinity Original Sin (THE HOLD) so you don’t miss a thing.
Fort Joy – Elven Caverns
Step 1
Let’s start with the elves first. Speak with these elves in particular:
Elodi – Assuming you saved her from Griff’s thugs, you can speak with Elodi here and she will thank you for your help. You can ask her a few questions about the cave itself, after which she will give you a reward for helping her, along with some experience. This will end the quest The Shakedown.
Amyro – Still wounded, Amyro will thank you for your help and remind you that Saheila cannot remain on the island. Speak with him about why Saheila is so important. He will remind you one final time to let the mainland Elves know of their location. This will update the quest Saheila’s People but it will not be completed in this Act.
Saheila – Speak with Saheila about leaving the island. She tells you that she foresees that only we make the trip and that she has to remain. Don’t threaten her, it doesn’t go well. Just say that you will help any way you can. She will also give you a reward for helping Amyro, and will end the quest The Imprisoned Elf. If you have Lohse in your group, a battle will start between Lohse and Saheila. If you side with Lohse, the elves will go hostile and you will be forced to kill them. If you side with the elves, you will have to battle Lohse until she is at low enough vitality that the spell is broken. From there you can continue the normal conversation paths.
With the elves out of the way it is now time to talk to the children. Well, one child in particular. Speak with Mody. If you act playfully he will challenge you to a game of hide and seek. You should accept.
His first hiding point will be to the west of the entrance, near some boxes. It should be really easy to find. He will turn invisible for his second hiding place, but it is near a sandpit to the southeast of the entrance. He will tell you that he wants to introduce you to a friend and will go through a narrow tunnel which you cannot get through. Luckily you will be able to dig in the sand to make your own path, so long as you have a shovel or a lizard in your group.
Dig that hole and you can go through the ancient stone hatch to the map Fort Joy – Withermoore Cave.
Step 2
After returning to the elf portion of the cave, after killing the frogs, Rulah will thank you, but there won’t be a reward sadly.
